June Update at the Garden

June has been the start of our harvest and we are excited to share! We also hosted several school groups for tours of the garden. The children learned about our donation garden and the ways we give back to the community.

We harvested 184 pounds of Collard Greens and 25 pounds of Broccoli! All given to Elijah's Promise. Our dedicated team of volunteers harvested quickly to beat the rain. Now we can start planting the pumpkins!

We also harvested broccoli which was donated to Replenish, the Middlesex County Food Bank.

In Mid June the Team from Molson/Coors came for a Volunteer Day of Service in the Rows. They helped us harvest 710 pounds of Cabbage for Elijah's Promise and Replenish.

In late June, several evening volunteers captured the garden in it’s beauty.
